Stones are needed by the guild masters to build larger Factorys. Stone deposits can be found in your settlement using large and small stones or rocks.
In order to mine stone, you must build a quarry on each deposit.
The quarry workers need tools and food for their work.
Both at the quarry and at the iron mine it is possible that a little gold ore is found by chance.

If you then have no mineable stone deposits on your island, you have to switch to the Tile Factory, which then supplies you with clay bricks. For this you first need the charcoal burning, a clay pit and the brickyard.

When your Ore deposits are exhausted, you can "activate" the deep Ore Mine or buy the geologist (400 Ore) or the geologist team (800 Ore) or the geologist (Stone) from the Shop.

Iron ore, like stone, requires a deposit. You can build a mine on an ore deposit.
To mine iron ore, you'll also need tools and food for the miners. For example, iron ore will later be processed into iron in the Forge and in the Foundry.

Group of players with quartz/lime

Quartz is only used together with sand for the production of glass.
This group also has the opportunity to grow with the farm and hop fields hop.
Quartz and hops are not available in this group of players with salt/sand!
quartz you need like sand for the production of glass.
Lime is needed in the tannery for leather production - and a small amount later in the brickworks for the production of bricks.

In summary:
- Quartz and lime in the mountains
- Climate and soil conditions for hops

Player group with salt/sand:

This group does not have quartz, but inexhaustible salt and sand deposits in the mountains.
salt later in the game serves for the production of durable meat (food) and for the production of leather in the Tannery .
Furthermore, the salty rock is very sandy, so that in the mountains also a mining of Sand is possible. (quartz sand) is worth it.
Like quartz, sand is needed for the production of Glas.
This group has the opportunity to grow a dyer plant instead of hops.
Dyeing plants are used for the production of garments.

In summary:
- Sand and salt from the mountains
- Climate and soil conditions for the dyer plant
